Dr. Jonathan Flomo is the Current Program Manager for the National AIDS & STI Control Program.  He served as the COVID-19 vaccine consultant for STAIP/jhpiego (April 2022-July 2022). He served as County Health officer for Bong County (October 2020 – February 2022). He also served as County Health Officer for Sinoe County (September 2019 – October 2020). He served as the Medical Director for the F.J Grante Hospital in Sinoe (August 2017 – August 2018). He served as Surveillance Assistant at the Ebola Treatment Unit in Tubmanburg, Bomi County (2015). He also served his Country as a National Volunteer in Maryland County under the UNDP/Ministry of Youth & Sports, National Youth Service Program (February – August 2008).

Dr. Flomo holds a Medical degree from the A.M Dogliotti College of Medicine, University of Liberia (2015) and a candidate of MPH, Cuttington University. He is a Performance-Based Financing Expert – Sina Health, Mombasa, Kenya (2019). He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree – Cuttington University, Suakoko, Bong County (2004-2008). He won the I-Health Liberia Health Sector Prestigious Award as the best Rural Doctor from 2022 – 2023. He has worked in all tiers of the health system in both curative and preventive services.
